Bay windows project at 25° or 35° angles from the wall, with a center picture window and two angled side windows. Bow windows use 4-6 windows arranged in a gentle arc, typically at 10° increments. Both types include a structural support system (cable support or knee bracket depending on the installation), an insulated roof cap with matching roofing material, and an insulated seat board.
